The Candles gleam and Children dream as they are wont to do; a time of Feast and Family - and Sniffly Sneezy Ewww. Yuletide and Christmastide are fine traditions, true - my Family's blest with Special Guest, our Sniffly Sneezy Ewww. He comes round every Holiday a fixture tried and true; it is our Fate to Celebrate with Sniffly Sneezy Ewww it all started in '68... it was the 'Hong Kong' Flu; my Family lay neath the tree with Sniffly Sneezy Ewww. We thought we'd died; our brains were fried, but somehow made it through... but since that day, we all make way for Sniffly Sneezy Ewww. Now every year, he hovers near no matter what we do... perhaps he just likes our cornbread? The Sniffly Sneezy Ewww "Remember Plague of '81? The Pox of '92?" Every year, fond mem'ries dear of Sniffly Sneezy Ewww. So Light the Yuletide Log afire! And pass the tissues, too... there's no debate, just set a plate for Sniffly Sneezy Ewww.

Back in the day, I caught the crud the first year I taught elementary school. It stuck around for about a month. Made for an interesting Christmas.
"What would you like for Christmas dinner?"
"Something hot to help me get rid of this before I have to go back to school, please." 😷

And two for ears, it’s true!!
