The close of the Year,
Sunset of the present Age;
On our horizon…

This, ‘the Year that was’
in all its pain and glory
now a memory -
~~~~~
It won’t come again.
Tomorrow brings our Future
rising with the Dawn.
Beautiful—and especially poignant as Dennis, the kids, and I again watch Lord of the Rings. As Anne Shirley often said, "Tomorrow is always new, with no mistakes in it yet." Here's to a glorious Tomorrow.
