THE DAY

the Mundane is a Miracle

It was a day like any day
the sun still rose and fell; 
the moon still wheeling in the sky
and stars with her as well - 

and all along the rolling tide
of time, the hours flew;
the minutes spent in work and sleep,
their little chores to do -

but from the other side of time,
the Miracle I see;
the day that might have never been - 
You are still here with me.
