Looks like he had quite the amazing adventure! Was he a pilot? Engineer?
He was an Engineer, brilliant beyond all reasoning. Could beat calculators at computations, even to multidigit square root... but most of all, he loved me!

My father was an engineer for many years as well.
Daddies and Daughters. Always a special bond. It's been 35 years and I still miss mine everyday.
