How did the Old Timey People stand it?
I never lived in a house with air conditioning until 1972 when my wife and I had it installed in our San Antonio,TX home. Had swamp coolers before that.
Wow yes, we had a swamp cooler too for a while. I loved to go out and watch that thing in the back yard... it's slatted sides were fascinating to me!
